Computer Weekly@50: What was happening in IT in April over the years

First branches of the National Westminster Bank Group to go on line to their multi-access computer system will be branches in Essex and Kent. This follows the completion of successful trials at several West Country branches, which were chosen because of their distances from the main computer complex in London.
