Mobile World Congress 2018: The key technologies and issues in mobile
Still beaming with pride after the recent launch of its smart city Internet of Things (IoT) edge computing test zone foundry facility in Palo Alto, US-headquartered telecommunications stalwart AT&T announced IoT services to connect and manage heavy machines and engines with a new multi-year global deal that connects Caterpillar products to the AT&T 4G LTE network.
AT&T also used Mobile World Congress to showcase connected health products. The company has claimed that with AT&T wireless connectivity, connected health devices can lead to quicker diagnoses, make available expert care in remote areas and improve management of medications.
