Wimbledon bunker tour: The IT behind the tennis championships

The data captured by IBM is used all over Wimbledon and beyond. The IT giant provides an aggressive shot analysis, a referee schedule system, details of who is playing for outdoor screens and a press interview schedule.
As well as capturing data court side, IBM also provides TV graphics for the BBC – which is a 3D overlay of the score and other statistical information which appears in-between games.
