Rising Stars 2014: Most Influential Women in UK IT
Charlotte Keens graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems in 2009 and a Master’s degree in Information Security and Privacy in 2010 from Cardiff University. Charlotte was awarded FDM's Female Champion of the Year 2012 due to her outstanding commitment to encouraging more women to pursue a career in IT.
Charlotte has been working as a Project Manager at UBS for 3.5 years within the global IT project teams. She has just finished working on a Desktop Transformation programme, which comprised upgrading 105,000 users globally. She is now working within the project team for an Exchange 2010 programme targeting 120,000 mailboxes for upgrade.
During the judging process for the top 25 Most Influential Women in UK IT the judges felt that a Rising Star category needed to be added so a handful of the ladies could be acknowledged for their work and their potential.
