The best tablet for the job
HP is expected to deliver an enterprise tablet in the next few weeks. Its current model, the ElitePad 900, was announced in late 2012. According to HP, it offers the full serviceability, enhanced security and manageability found in HP Elite PCs, and military-grade durability for drops, vibration, dust, temperature extremes and high altitude.
"Businesses used to face a tough purchasing decision: How to find a product that will delight employees and help them be more productive, while making sure IT can secure and manage it," says Todd Bradley, executive vice-president of Printing and Personal Systems at HP. "The HP ElitePad meets all those tests. It has a 10.1in screen and runs the Atom Z2760 dual-core processor."
