40 years ago today: Computer Weekly January 24 1974
We had a giggle on the classified ads page, particularly the one at the bottom for Rentaman – for IT manpower services. Or how about the ad which states: "PUNCHING PROBLEM? -Immediate capacity available, paper tape any code (no conversion) and 80 column cards. 24-hour turn round with collection and delivery service."

The National Museum of Computing has a full copy of every print edition of Computer Weekly since our first in September 1966, and is now digitising the archive.
