The retailer has introduced a new point of sale system, which is connected to the web, stock checking systems as well as having access to customer queries. Each till area also has a dedicated iPad.

The three service areas, ‘service’, ‘fast track’, ‘pay and collect’ are designed to let the customer get closer to the staff, by breaking down the long horizontal barrier which usually occurs in Argos stores. The different service points can also be interchanged easily, with moveable signage during busy periods.
