Humans are the ultimate mobile platform – pictures from Intel Developer Forum 2013
Intel used this show to launch its latest family of low-power systems-on-a-chip (SoC) codenamed "Bay Trail". It is hoped that this will fuel a range of energy efficient tablets, new “2 in 1” (laptop cum tablet machines) and other mobile devices. OEMs including Acer, ASUS, Dell, Lenovo and Toshiba have already lined up. The "Bay Trail" family of processors is based on Intel's low-power "Silvermont” microarchitecture, which was announced back in May 2013.
