He also said that BA is interested in using the capabilities of wireless streaming for entertainment in the future. “Wifi is a big topic of conversation across all airlines,” he said. “[for internet] the experience is not very good, and we don’t want our customers to be disappointed.”

However, the airline is looking into the possibility of using wifi to stream entertainment straight to customer’s tablets and smartphone, the equivalent of in-flight BYOD.
