British Airways unveils its new Airbus A380

BA uses Talis for its entertainment portfolio. All of its screens are touch, but they vary in size depending on class: economy has 8.9-inch screens, premium economy 10.6-inch, business 12.1-inch and first 15.4-inch.

The displays are high resolution, but not HD. Inflight entertainment and technology manager, Richard D’Cruze said that the production development cycle of the technology on board a plan is around 10-15 years, which makes the technology old by industry standards even though it is the latest system when the plane was built.
