Plessey started back in 1957 manufacturing transistors in the UK, and the company has been through a series of changes.

This company became a “start-up-again”, when it re-launched in 2010.

Plessey now manufactures EPIC (electric potential integrated circuit) sensors, a capacitive sensor which can monitor bio-electric signals from the human body.
