Highlights from PwC’s State of Information Security Survey, India 2013
When it comes to obstacles to security adopting and overall effectiveness of the security policy, 59% of respondents view senior leadership as a significant obstacle. Survey data which suggests a lack of top management involvement may indicate the lack of direct channels between security and decision makers. Only 42% of senior information security executives report to the CEO (up from 31% last year), which also suggests changes in the organizational reporting structure in organizations.
