Bletchley Park: home of the code breakers

British code breakers stationed at Bletchley Park managed to exploit weaknesses in the Enigma machine  to break the encryption code. Cracking Enigma ciphers shortened the war by two years.

Turing headed up Hut 8 at Bletchley Park, which was responsible for  German naval cryptanalysis.
