Rohde & Schwarz offered a range of signal generators and signal analysers to meet the development and production needs of manufacturers of RF components, base stations and mobile user equipment. British market researcher Wireless Intelligence estimated Long Term Evolution (LTE or 4G) will reach about 60 million users in China alone by 2015. Other significant Asian LTE markets include Japan, Indonesia, Korea and Taiwan. Europe and the USA are also deploying the new standard as spectrum becomes available. As LTE uses very small cells, testing is becomng more critical than ever.
