HP Slate - Tablets set to kill the iPad CES 2011
Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard have been showing off the HP Slate 500. The 1.5lb (o.68kg) Slate is aimed at business professionals needing to check email, browse the internet and edit documents and presentations.
Based on Windows 7 32-bit operating system, it also includes an integrated VGA webcam for video conferencing, Bluetooth connectivity and built-in wi-fi. It can also be docked on a desktop using the HP Slate Dock.
The HP webOS Slate is expected to be announced in the coming months.
