Telstra International appoints South Asia head

Telstra International has appointed Geraldine Kor, a former DXC Technology executive, as managing director for South Asia and country managing director for Singapore.

Born and bred in Singapore, Kor has more than two decades of experience in the global and regional technology industry and will oversee Telstra’s growth across the South Asian region.

Prior to joining Telstra, Kor was director of global alliances and partnerships for DXC Technology Asia-Pacific, where she led partnerships with global alliance partners to define market strategies and accelerate digital transformation.

She had also served as regional business operations director for Asia and director of marketing and communications at DXC Technology, senior sales director at Here Technologies, and product and channel development management at Nokia Mobile Asia-Pacific.

At Telstra International, Kor will be responsible for South Asia markets including Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand, where she will leverage her expertise in technology and customer market development.

She will also play a central role in championing Telstra’s focus on diversity and inclusion. A recipient of Singapore’s Women in GovTech 2018 award, Kor will act as an active champion of Telstra’s Brilliant Connected Women committee within the South Asia team.
