Iconic British sports car maker Aston Martin said it would standardise its global vehicle development on Siemens NX software for integrated computer-aided design, manufacturing and engineering analysis (CAD/CAM/CAE).
Iconic British sports car maker Aston Martin said it would standardise its global vehicle development on Siemens NX software for integrated computer-aided design, manufacturing and engineering analysis (CAD/CAM/CAE).
It also said it would use Siemens Teamcenter software to manage its product and process knowledge.
The decision would help Aston Martin to drive productivity improvements, common processes and enhanced global collaboration for product design and development, the company said in a statement.
The decision follows a two-year competitive product lifecycle management (PLM) technology evaluation.
