Restaurant-booking site, Toptable.com, has chosen Zeus Technology's software-based traffic management application to manage its web traffic.
Toptable.com, which deals with three million restaurant bookings a year, uses Zeus Traffic Manager 7.0 to manage and prioritise its web traffic. The company said the technology will also help the website to support its growing number of users.
Andy Chakraborty, head of IT operations at Toptable.com, said Zeus Technology's software has proved simple for staff to use through a web-based interface and has been used to track and re-write requests.
"Zeus software is critical to ensuring our web performance is consistently stable and reliable. By preventing web traffic related problems, we're working to ensure our customers have the best possible experience," said Chakraborty.
Zeus Technology's Trafficscript also puts URLs into a national language URL structure to make shorter domain names and improve search rankings.
Toptable.com started using Zeus Technology products in October last year and has signed a three-year support contract.
