Scale Computing rolls out MSP programme
The hyper converged player has stepped up the support it can offer to managed service providers
Hyper converged specialist Scale Computing has kicked off an MSP programme that is backed up with a flexible pricing model that will make it easier for partners to offer customer subscription models.
The firm is looking to help those partners that are looking to sell options like disaster recovery as a service, remote management as a service and IaaS.
Resellers will be able to offer a price per-node, per-month, OpEx subscription pricing model that will provide choices for customers.
The firm is providing the Scale and Lenovo hardware based HC3 appliances and then giving partners the options to add services on top.
“We are committed to working with the channel in a true partnership, and our updated program is a reflection of this as we strive to enable our partners to maintain a competitive advantage. The market is dynamic, and channel partners need to adapt to meet new challenges and customer requirements,” commented Jeff Ready, CEO at Scale Computing.
“There is a growth in value-add services – organizations are looking to work with the latest market trends from the cloud, to DRaaS, RMMaaS, IaaS, AI, IoT and Edge Computing – with our updated program we are enabling partners to offer a differentiated service in today’s competitive market that is underpinned by simplified virtualisation," he added.
The vendor gathered responses from a number of partners that welcomed the introduction of the programme with Michelle Catterall, business development director at Neuways, part of the Neustro Group in the UK, flying the flag with the British response.
“Scale Computing is perfectly aligned to meet many of our growing customer requirements and with the new added ability to offer an OpEx based pricing model, the technology not only suits IT needs, but is now also more flexible in deployment," she said.
"The Scale Computing partner community is growing, and we are pleased to be able to offer enhanced services with competitive pricing models that solve the complexities around virtualisation. With the new structured programme, we are confident that we can meet customer needs now and in the future," she added.
