Sponsored by TechTarget ComputerWeekly.com
When Computer Weekly’s IT priorities survey was carried out Covid-19 was not something IT leaders would consider when planning ahead. The results of the survey must be considered with this in mind. The distribution of finite IT budgets will have undoubtedly changed over the last few weeks. In fact IT budgets might be cut for some businesses if they face falling sales. Computer Weekly’s IT priorities survey for 2020 revealed that nearly 60% of IT leaders expected a IT budget increase this year compared to last. It also revealed that network infrastructure modernisation will be the biggest recipient of this rise. This is probably related to the acceleration of digital transformation journeys, which according to the survey 91% of Middle East organisations are currently on.
